Job Description

The Volunteer Process Coordinator (Part-time) will monitorshort-term volunteer applications assessed and approved through the Go Method system. Additionally the Volunteer Process Coordinator will work with global personnel to ensure pre-trip requirements are met prior to short-term mission trip.

Location: Richmond VA Headquarters
Schedule: Part-time 25 hours per week

Rate: Hourly commensurate with experience

Responsibilities:

  • Communication with key stakeholders (global personnel US team leaders applicants in the volunteer process to ensure pre-trip assessment and approval is completed prior to start date of volunteer trip or opportunity.
  • Improve relations with key stakeholders in the volunteer process by providing timely efficient and helpful service and support.
  • Monitor that pre-approval process steps for volunteer applicants are being completed in a timely manner.
  • Monitor that volunteer applicants are approved as team members and that post-approval steps are completed prior to the start date of volunteer trip or opportunity.
  • Assist key stakeholders related to assessment and approval issues within Go Method specifically for the volunteer assessment and review process.
  • Monitor accuracy of information as cross-referenced between the applicant review spreadsheet and information in Go Method.
  • Basic level of Training for key stakeholders in utilizing Go Method in the pre-trip assessment and approval process as needed. Assist with documentation of related training materials and data.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year experience in an office clerical or customer service capacity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Basic knowledge of training principles and experience with documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with the Go Method system ideally
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
