Job Description
Manufacturing Manager / CNC Process Engineer / Senior CNC Programmer required for a global manufacturer of precision components.
The successful Manufacturing Manager / CNC Process Engineer / Senior CNC Programmer will work onsite near Dayton OH and be responsible for optimizing machining processes by creating CNC programs for milling and turning and manage a team where you will provide training and technical guidance on CNC Programming. You will play a part in the continuous improvement of the company by implementing new processes to reduce downtime.
The Manufacturing Manager / CNC Process Engineer / Senior CNC Programmer will ideally be degree qualified in mechanical engineering or manufacturing and have prior experience managing a team within a CNC or manufacturing setting.

Manufacturing Manager role
- Optimize machining processes by creating CNC programs for milling and turning operations.
- Provide hands-on training and technical guidance on CNC Programming to both customers and colleagues.
- Manage a team of CNC Programmers and Manufacturing Engineers
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement by implementing new processes.
- Enhance CNC programs using G-code M-code and CAD/CAM software.
- Collaborate closely with other engineering teams.
Manufacturing Manager Requirements
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing would be preferred.
- In-depth understanding of G-code and M-code.
- Prior experience with CAD/CAM software applications.
- Prior experience managing a team in manufacturing / CNC
- Knowledgeable of lean engineering / continuous improvement methodology
- Must be able to commute or relocate to the Dayton OH area.
