Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: 

Responsible for daily operations of Ply Gem Canadas Port Coquitlam Branch including responsibility for achievement of all goals and targets and overall financial performance of the Branch. The Branch Manager will lead and support the sales team and has responsibility for revenue and revenue growth for the Branch. This individual must have extensive product knowledge as well as an understanding of all sales-related issues pertaining to his / her marketplace. This individual must be able to operate independently as well as a part of a cohesive team. This person has exceptional communications skills coupled with the ability to see projects through to completion and or to achieved desired results.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee branch operations for profitability
  • Monitor misc. categories such as RGAs Credits DSOs Change Orders etc. and address root cause issues with corrective actions as necessary
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with Ply Gem Canada customer base
  • Knowledge and communication of Ply Gem Canada policies and procedures
  • Approve all expenses and credits relating to the branch
  • Prepare branch budgets (expenses) and manage these accordingly
  • Effectively communicate corporate goals and objectives to staff
  • Conduct branch meetings as required
  • Ensure Ply Gem Canada branch facilities and equipment are kept in a clean and safe condition
  • Monitor pricing and discounts to maximize opportunities
  • Complete knowledge of all Ply Gem Canada products and their functions
  • Foster a proactive and positive working environment to enhance Ply Gem Canada Port Coquitlam Branch operations
  • Work with senior management and other departments towards the development of products and processes that will maximize future opportunities for the company as a whole.
  • Maintain a strong professional working relationship with the Branch Service / Shipping supervisor and associated staff
  • Occasional travel within Canada may be required

Qualifications :

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent preferably in Business Management is welcomed but not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows as well as Word Excel and Power Point
  • 2-5 years of previous management or supervisory experience preferably in the construction industry
  • Sales leadership experience is required
  • Previous Branch management and Profit and Loss responsibility is welcomed but not required
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Compensation: $80000-90000 plus SIP and car allowance.
