The Product Operations Lead works within Airtable to deliver useful solutions for our clients. The Product Operations Lead will work directly with workflow owners to determine the best solution to implement within the platform. This will involve gathering requirements presenting options and alternatives executing and resolving conflict during the course of a project. The Product Operations Lead will set the standard for delivery and excellence for the team.
An Airtable expert from planning to implementation.
A systems thinker who is able to assess tools holistically while supporting the unique needs of various departments.
Comfortable guiding small and large groups through change with strong communication and training skills.
Organized adaptable and proactive in identifying both problems and potential solutions.
Confident working cross-functionally and interfacing with clients internal stakeholders and leadership.
Capable of translating technical concepts at the right level for stakeholders and creating accurate documentation.
Be the Expert:Be the expert for Airtable and when expertise isnt available coordinate with other relevant products to find an answer or solution. Keep a constant pulse on the latest product updates to ensure that our teams have what they need to stay ahead of our clients needs and competition.
Manage & Orchestrate Training:Have the know-how to take stakeholders through an introduction of a new product or feature. Interpret product updates apply them to existing processes and prepare wide-scale training as needed. Ensure that quality training programs are in place and up to date.
Establish Best Practices:Inform best practices and standard operating procedures for how our teams use the tools we provide. Partner with others within the department to create and maintain documentation.
Determine the Right Tools:Identify or be informed of gaps in technology that inhibit the ability to deliver on a clients brief and locate potential tools and solutions to address them in partnership with clients and internal leadership.
Expert knowledge of Airtable including 3 years experience working in an Airtable-building role supporting implementation and ongoing best practices. Previous experience working in operations or for a creative agency is a plus.
Experience creating accessible learning and training materials for applications software and programs and leading teams through training as needed.
Exceptional ability to recognize opportunities to improve workflows through the implementation of new tools. The ability to successfully communicate and motivate stakeholders is critical.
Experience working closely with multidisciplinary teams and various leadership levels to ensure that solutions align with all stakeholder needs.
Experience planning and executing against company-wide operational initiatives with an ability to contextualize and simplify complex processes for unfamiliar teams.
Experience building multidisciplinary relationships and confidence interacting with all levels of leadership. Experience leading teams in a management capacity is a plus.
Strong communication skills with a collaborative mentality and top-notch interpersonal skills.
NICE TO HAVE
Knowledge of other project management time tracking communication and knowledge management tools such as Asana Harvest Slack and Notion.
Knowledge of general business tools such as Slack Microsoft Office Google Suite Miro etc.
Reporting:This role reports to the Product Operations Director.
Mentorship:This role provides mentorship guidance to other roles as an additional channel of support that helps reinforce the community mentality within the department.
Leadership:This role leads the team to a unified and clear use of available tools grounded in their support. This role does not have people management responsibilities.
Collaboration:This role collaborates directly with clients as part of our Airtable implementation team to support their operational efforts with program-and-tool-specific support and expertise. This includes direct partnership with all levels of stakeholders across all departments and accounts to ensure that tool and product functions align with the needs of their teams. This role also serves as an internal collaborator for thought partnership within our Airtable implementation team.

Certain activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse.

Travel is not anticipated for this role.
Thesis operates using a flexible hybrid model; work occurs remotely two days/week and in the office three days/week.
