Nature of Work:
Performs responsible paraprofessional work promoting the social personal and academic success ofstudents. Assistsstudents and families identified by the school administration to recommend and coordinate appropriate intervention and aid focused on developing positive relationships in conjunction with the community school and in-home-based support. Monitors and ensures the quality of services for youth and families align with the needs expressed by families and observed by team members. Must exercise discretion. Monitors and documents caseload progress. Work is performed under established guidelines and the direction of the program manager. Performance is reviewed through reports meetings and outcomes achieved.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Social Work Psychology Human Development Education or closely related field and one (1) year experience promoting the social academic or personal success ofstudents between the ages of birth through twenty-sixrequired; or an equivalent combination of education training and experience. Previous experience in the human services field preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)required. Valid Florida Drivers Licenserequired.Mustpass criminal background check and polygraph. OCPS clearance may be required depending on area of assignment. May be required to work evenings weekends and holidays.
This is a full-time CONTRACT position with the same benefits as Regular full-time. Most contracts are renewable for terms of one year.

If this posting indicates a degree is required the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
- Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
- Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelors degree;
- Six (6) years of direct experience for a masters degree; or
- Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
