Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MSCarpenter to join our Responsive Repairsteam.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct carpentry repairs and maintenance in ourproperties.
- Carry out assessments of repairs needed and provide accurate estimates.
- Work collaboratively with other tradespeople to complete repairs.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Report any issues or concerns to the Supervisor or Responsive RepairsManager.
We are looking for someone with...
- Proven experience as a carpenter preferably in a social housing or residential environment.
- Essential qualifications; City and guilds Level 3 and NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel to various sites.
- Qualified or years of experience to multi-skill- so can perform other trades to a high standard.
