Primary responsibility is to facilitate food service. Set tables replenish supply of clean linens silverware glassware and dishes. Serve food and beverage and condiments to guests.
Essential Functions:
Speak with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service to respond to complaints and to make conversation.
Serve beverages rolls or butter to guests.
Serve food to guests when servers need assistance.
Organize prep items needed from different areas to ensure all items are in place and ready for service.
Examine trays to ensure that they contain required items.
Load trays with accessories such as eating utensils napkins or condiments.
Polish dishes kitchen utensils and equipment.
Place food servings on plates or trays according to orders or instructions.
Stack dishes for return to stewarding after meals are finished.
Speak with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service to respond to complaints or to make conversation.
Actively look for ways to assist both guests and coworkers.
Maintain contact with kitchen staff management and customers to ensure that dining details are handled properly and guest concerns are addressed.
Meet with supervisor to review assignments anticipate business levels changes and other information pertinent to the job performance.
Review status of work and follow up actions required with supervisor prior to leaving.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:
Food handler certification required.
Restaurant experience required.
High School diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate preferred.
Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
Ability to work cohesively with all levels of management all departments and co-workers as part of a team.
Must have ability to listen to and communicate information to guests and coworkers in a courteous and respectful manner.
Ability to be a clear thinker remain calm and resolve problems using good judgment.
Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service.
Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must have the ability to communicate in English.
