Position: Collections Specialist
Reports to: CFO
Position Responsibilities:
Culligans Collections Specialist is responsible for monitoring Accounts Receivable reports for each of our 3 locations identifying past due accounts reaching out to customers to resolve past dues invoices and securing payments. Outbound communication and follow-up to our existing customers is essential. The primary responsibility for this role will be to reduce the dollar amount of overall past due accounts and to prepare reporting on accounts receivable. This role will need to work closely with the accounting and customer service teams to research and resolve billing issues and discrepancies. Additionally this role assists with other administrative duties as needed. This is an in-person position and regular in-office attendance is required during business hours.
Essential Job Duties:
Outbound collection calls for business and residential past due accounts.
Monitor accounts on a daily basis
Identify outstanding past due account receivables
Contact clients and discuss their overdue payments secure payments or payment plans
Investigate historical customer data for debts and bills
Take actions in order to encourage timely payments in the future
Process customer payments
Resolve billing issues
Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress
May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:
Minimum 3 years in a collections-related role or equivalent work experience
Special Knowledge/Skills and/or Abilities:
Strong excel skills
Ability to multi-task strong organization skills.
Able to clearly present information through the spoken word. Can accurately communicate providing the necessary level of detail even under stressful or demanding conditions. Ensures a positive attitude and team orientation is exhibited in verbal and non-verbal communication.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office and ability to operate standard office equipment.
NetSuite experience a plus

Minimum Hourly Rate Based on Experience: $26.50 $31.00/hour
