Job Description

Position: Human Resources Administrative Coordinator

Location: Westfield MA      

Rate of Pay: $22.50- $24.50 per hour (Dependent upon experience)

Hours: 40 hours per week 

Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00am-4:30pm (flexibility on evenings to attend Job Fairs as required)

Summary

  • The Human Resources Administrative Coordinator provides administrative assistance for the Human Resources playing a key role in compliance and record keeping.  While directly reporting to the Chief People Officer the Coordinator will support the HR department team members including support for all activities involved within their administrative and project needs.  The HR Admin Coordinator is responsible for maintaining employee personnel files and other records.  Additionally the HR Admin Coordinator participates in the new employee orientation process of WC claims coordinating meetings and documentation compliance for all audits submission of human resources information and reports for newsletters oversight of HR mailbox and main phone line oversight and coordination of tenure awards and ordering office supplies. 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED AA or Certificate in General Studies Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) or other Administrative Certification preferred
  • At least two years related experience in an office environment required.

Requirements

  • Regularly interacts with members and the public on the phone and in a program setting.
  • Develops positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Works under direct supervision within prescribed area and escalates other matters appropriately. 
  • Skilled in using phone systems email Office365 applications (word excel SharePoint Teams etc.) and willingness to learn Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • The ability to communicate effectively and professionally in a business setting verbally and in writing.
