Job Description
What is the opportunity
The role will be responsible for extracting analyzing and reporting on Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and other metrics generating insights to support business decision and contributing to various projects as needed.
What will you do
Data Extraction & Reporting
Download and extract data from various source systems to generate reports on KRI ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Collaborate with stakeholders (including but not limited to PB&CB Data Management office EIMR Operational Risk to obtain additional key metrics to be embedded within the reports.
Develop clear comprehensive and user-friendly reporting packages; implement standardized processes and templates for consistent report creation.
Maintain thorough documentation of reporting processes methodologies and changes for transparency.
Data Analysis and Insights Generation
Analyze data to identify trends patterns and anomalies and present findings to management and stakeholders in a clear manner.
Through data analysis generate actionable insights for management to help inform business decision.
Utilize Data visualization to present complex data insights in an intuitive format for stakeholders.
Project Support/ Other Duties
Support Director Business Risk and Governance on assigned deliverables geared towards advancing CED Business Risk Management towards maturity.
Support ad-hoc business initiatives led by the PB&CB Data Management Office.
Continuously evaluate and improve reporting processes identifying opportunities for efficiency gain and automation.
What do you need to succeed
Must have:
Experience in financial services sector
Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
Advanced excel skills (formulas pivot tables charts) with the ability to generate actionable insights through analyzing data extracts
Superior organization prioritization and time management skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Delivery focused comfortable with hard deadlines
Nice to have:
Ability to multi-task and shift priorities in an ambiguous environment
Excellent problem-solving skills and comfortable in challenging current practices
Self-starter with the ability to navigate ambiguity
