Lead regional cost management across the Americas region specifically in the areas of Logistics Revenue Generating Investments Customer Care and Overheads
Partner with regional and corporate stakeholders to understand plan forecast and report on Capital Expenditures impacting the region and depreciation expense impacting regional trading profit
Partner with non-Finance Americas Leadership team members to identify quantify and implement cost savings initiatives
Be the zero-based-budgeting expert for the region educating finance and non-finance peers and leaders on how to implement drive-based planning and forecasting methodologies in the abovementioned areas
Partner with Americas cost segment owners and lead the organization through planning and forecasting for Americas regional costs
Ensure monthly actuals are accurately accounted for through monthly and quarterly journal entries and assessing results during month end close
Present accurate monthly reporting of performance detailing variances from budget and target
Provide and present month end commentary on cost results to each market
Review analyze and approve costs for Logistics Revenue Generating Investments Customer Care and Overheads
Identify and analyze key drivers of business performance and present results to Head of FP&A and VP Finance
Implement standardized tools and templates across the areas of cost planning forecasting and reporting to drive efficiency and improved quality of analysis
Partner with key stakeholders to improve operational efficiency and cross functional ways of working
Manage develop and lead team a team of two senior finance analysts
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in finance operations with strong analytical experience and P&L ownership
BS/BA required; MBA/CPA a plus
Prior experience with a technology or consumer products company is preferred
Zero-based-budgeting experience is preferred
Strong knowledge of modeling/forecasting business planning budgeting management reporting
Experience with Onstream
Experience with Capex and Depreciation treatments
Methodical / driver-based business planning capability
Ability to earn trust and confidence of business partners and be a strong team player
Previous experience managing multiple initiatives and priorities
Ability to influence and negotiate at all levels of the organization
Ability to understand and create value from data analytics to impact the business
Ability to clearly present and communicate complex data analysis
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Demonstrated previous success in a fast paced and agile environment
