Job Description



QA/QC PersonnelThe QA/QC personnel are responsible for ensuring all construction fabrication and installation activities for midstream compressor stations and cryogenic processing plants meet the highest standards of safety quality and compliance with project specifications codes and regulatory requirements.In this role you will
  • Oversee quality control activities during construction fabrication and commissioning phases
  • Conduct daily inspections and document work progress deficiencies and corrective actions
  • Maintain QA/QC documentation including ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans) material traceability and weld mapping
  • Perform weld inspections pipe fit-up verification and NDE coordination
  • Verify pressure testing flange torquing and equipment alignment
  • Monitor coating/painting activities including surface prep and DFT checks (if applicable)
  • Coordinate with client representatives contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with project quality requirements
  • Participate in pre-commissioning and turnover package preparation

As the ideal candidate you
  • Minimum 2 years of QA/QC experience in midstream oil & gas compressor station construction and/or cryogenic plant construction
  • Strong background in mechanical piping structural and electrical/instrumentation inspections
  • Experience working with compressors cryogenic equipment piping skids process modules and rotating equipment
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments and meet deadlines
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with client inspectors and project stakeholders
Expectations in this role include
  • Thorough understanding of applicable codes and standards including:
    • ASME B31.3 B31.8
    • API 1104
    • AWS D1.1 (Structural Welding)
    • API 6A / API 598 (Valves & Testing)
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs piping isometrics structural drawings and electrical schematics
  • Vendor package inspection experience (compressor skids cryo units separator packages etc.)
  • Proficient in visual weld inspections hydrostatic testing NDE coordination and punch list development/closeout
  • Knowledge of cryogenic piping systems stainless and alloy materials and insulation inspection requirements
  • Understanding of electrical/instrumentation installations grounding and ESD systems

You are physically able to
  • Willingness to travel and work at remote field locations
  • Must be able to climb lift and work in outdoor environments
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record
