The QA/QC personnel are responsible for ensuring all construction fabrication and installation activities for midstream compressor stations and cryogenic processing plants meet the highest standards of safety quality and compliance with project specifications codes and regulatory requirements.
In this role you will
Oversee quality control activities during construction fabrication and commissioning phases
Conduct daily inspections and document work progress deficiencies and corrective actions
Maintain QA/QC documentation including ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans) material traceability and weld mapping
Perform weld inspections pipe fit-up verification and NDE coordination
Verify pressure testing flange torquing and equipment alignment
Monitor coating/painting activities including surface prep and DFT checks (if applicable)
Coordinate with client representatives contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with project quality requirements
Participate in pre-commissioning and turnover package preparation
As the ideal candidate you
Minimum 2 years of QA/QC experience in midstream oil & gas compressor station construction and/or cryogenic plant construction
Strong background in mechanical piping structural and electrical/instrumentation inspections
Experience working with compressors cryogenic equipment piping skids process modules and rotating equipment
Strong communication and documentation skills
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
Ability to work in high-pressure environments and meet deadlines
Professional demeanor when interacting with client inspectors and project stakeholders
