Job Description

Are you a meticulous and dependable team player with a passion for customer service We invite you to join our KAAPA team as a Maintenance Coordinator at our Aurora location.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate maintenance jobs and projects with operations groups
  • Maintain equipment information and repair files
  • Manage procure and enter data for equipment and repair parts
  • Perform preventative and proactive maintenance tasks in a safe and efficient manner
  • Maintain accurate and accountable inventory of spare parts and regularly replenish
  • Responsible for shipping and accounting for returns and parts sent in for repair
  • Call vendors and suppliers for parts and services quotes
  • Provide monthly management reports as directed
  • Help maintain cleanliness and organization
  • Learn the plant process for a better understanding of how the equipment is utilized
  • Assist in identifying safety hazards and/ or regulatory compliance problems

Working Hours:

  • Monday- Friday 8am- 4:30pm and must be available for overtime work and/ or on a call-in basis as required as the plant is operational 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid drivers license
  • 1 year experience in a supervisory role
  • Experience with hydraulics pneumatics mechanics fabrication welding and basic electrical repair
  • Experience in operation of a dry-mill ethanol plant manufacturing and production helpful
  • Experience in the repair of equipment such as pumps gearboxes airlocks agitator assemblies piping systems boiler operation conveyors etc.
  • Ability to write read and interpret documents drawings and reports
  • Knowledge and ability with Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook
