Job Description

United Security Services Inc. is looking for experienced Security Patrol Officers to join our team in the Orlando FL area.

Please note that while we are seeking supervisory-level security officers these positions are not supervisory roles in the traditional sense. The ideal candidates must understand that these positions will require flexibility including the ability to work any shift at any time. We are looking for team-oriented individuals who can contribute to a positive work environment.

WE WILL BE HOLDING AN IN-OFFICE HIRING EVENT FOR THIS POSITION. FURTHER DETAILS AFTER THE FOLLOWING DESCRIPTION:

Description:

We are seeking motivated individuals for security positions with strong supervisory potential. While all new hires will begin as regular guards this role is ideal for those looking to grow into leadership positions. A strong work ethic punctuality and reliability are essential as is the ability to handle physically active shifts including walking standing scanning outdoor assignments and completing detailed reports.

Excellent customer service skills are a must; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply though clear fluent English is required. Previous experience in hotel security or familiarity with the Orange County Convention Center is highly preferred. Successful candidates should be confident in problem-solving managing people and maintaining strong client relationships in dynamic environments.

We are seeking an overnight guard from (11p-7a) Tue. - Sat. in the South LBV area.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a visible professional presence to deter unsafe or unauthorized behavior
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests staff and clients
  • Monitor assigned areas on foot to ensure safety and compliance
  • Write detailed incident and activity reports as needed
  • Respond quickly and calmly to emergencies or escalations
  • Support fellow security staff and assist with crowd management during events
  • Exhibit leadership traits and assist in mentoring newer team members
  • Maintain clear communication with supervisors and team leaders

Requirements:

  • Must be punctual dependable and professional at all times
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods; work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Strong verbal communication skills (English required bilingual a plus)
  • Experience in hotel or convention center security is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and discretion
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role is a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hotel security experience
  • Ex-law enforcement
  • Military service
