About the Role:
Were seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our US-based finance operations. Youll handle journal entries reconciliations and financial reporting while helping prepare data for upcoming system migrations. This role is ideal for someone whos organized collaborative and eager to drive process improvements.
Job Description:
- Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end close procedures
- Perform bank credit card and account reconciliations
- Assist in maintaining general ledger accuracy and integrity
- Support the preparation of financial statements and reporting packages
- Assist with audit requests and documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies
- Support accounting data/records creation for 2024 and 2025 trial balances for migration
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with accounting systems NetSuite preferred
- Highly organized detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill
