Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) - a service provider working exclusively for the global fund management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is currently looking for a Student Intern to join our office in Melbourne Australia.
The Role
As a Student Intern you will collaborate with a group of eight motivated experts. The team is responsible for the end-to-end financial support for a diverse range of Renewable Energy Projects spanning multiple technologies (primarily including Onshore Wind Offshore Wind BESS and Pumped Hydro) and your role will be to work with the team in supporting the financial activities of the team.
More specifically you will be responsible:
- Management and liaising with outsource service providers
- Support budgeting and financial reporting activities including being responsible for reconciling and raising re-charge invoices chasing up outstanding payments and monthly expense management
- Assist with the preparation of monthly reporting packs including development expenditure tracking
- Supporting the preparing accurate reports and presentations to management and stakeholders.
- Period-end closing including accounting entries and reconciliation.

You
We are looking for someone who is currently completing their university studies in an applicable degree (e.g. Commerce/Accounting Degree) and is available to work on a part time basis from the Melbourne office 2-3 days a week. We are looking for you who have completed your masters degree and comes with min. 4-5 years of full-time experience from a position similar position. Concrete years of experience educational background and a couple of specific skillset Moreover you are a highly capable and motivated individual who is thriving in a highly effective and innovative environment.
We look for the following in a candidate:
Self-igniting and delivery oriented
Close attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Solid experience with Excel and PowerPoint
Comprehensive analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills
Willingness to work in an international efficient and highly varied environment
