Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot disassemble repair and reassemble a wide range of AC/DC electric motors generators gearboxes pumps and other rotating equipment
- Perform electrical and mechanical diagnostics using tools like multimeters high-pot testers growlers micrometers and calipers
- Conduct failure analysis and provide detailed documentation and reporting of findings
- Perform both in-shop and occasional on-site repairs following OEM EASA and customer specifications
- Maintain accurate testing and inspection records ensuring final quality checks meet industry standards
- Follow strict electrical and mechanical safety procedures during all work tasks
Qualification:
- 13 years of hands-on experience repairing and rebuilding industrial electric motors (automotive motor experience not applicable)
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read blueprints schematics and technical manuals
- Familiarity with safety procedures and compliance in an industrial environment
