Job Description
Are you an experienced Electric Motor Mechanic or Winder looking to join a well-established fast-growing team in Louisville KY Were hiring a hands-on technician with a solid background in diagnosing repairing and testing industrial AC/DC motors generators pumps gearboxes and rotating equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot AC/DC motors generators and related electro-mechanical equipment
- Disassemble inspect clean repair rewind reassemble and test rotating equipment
- Use multimeters meggers hi-pot testers growlers micrometers and calipers
- Perform failure analysis and prepare detailed repair documentation
- Ensure repairs meet OEM EASA and customer specifications
- Conduct both in-shop and on-site service work
- Maintain accurate records of work performed inspections and final testing
Qualifications:
- 13 years of experience as an Electric Motor Mechanic or Winder
- Proven experience with industrial electric motors (not automotive)
- Skilled in motor winding disassembly/reassembly and testing
- Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical safety procedures
- Ability to read blueprints wiring diagrams and technical manuals
- EASA or military technical training is a strong plus
