About the Role
A well-regarded legal team is seeking a Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions Associate with at least 8 years of experience to support a robust M&A and transactional practice. This mid-level role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile national and international deals contributing to complex business transactions and securities matters. The position is ideal for a business-minded attorney who thrives in a fast-paced client-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support mergers acquisitions and other corporate transactions
- Draft and negotiate transaction documents including purchase agreements disclosure schedules and closing documents
- Advise clients on deal structure due diligence and regulatory compliance
- Provide legal guidance on general corporate governance and business operations
- Manage deal timelines and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- Support public company clients with securities law compliance when applicable
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a nationally accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona
- 8 years of transactional legal experience with a focus on M&A
- Strong knowledge of corporate law entity structuring and deal mechanics
- Excellent drafting analytical and communication skills
- Proven experience managing complex transactions independently

- Prior large law firm experience

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150000.00 - $200000.00 per year
