Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

Registered Respiratory Therapist

RRT

Full-Time NIGHTS

Registered Respiratory Therapist candidates will have the following job responsibilities:

  • Preferred Skillset/Experience: None
  • Type of Patients on Unit: primarily adults ED patients Surgical; rehab; imaging; heart & vascular; ortho; emergency
  • Role (RN Tech LPN PT etc.): RT
  • Specialty: Respiratory Therapist
  • Number of Openings: 1
  • Shift Hours: 6:45p-7:15a (Nights)
  • Weekend Hours: Every other Weekend

JOB QUALIFICATIONS-

Registered Respiratory Therapist

RRT

Full-Time NIGHTS

Registered Respiratory Therapist candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

  • Call Requirements: Yes dependent on the needs of the facility
  • Required Certifications: Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification - American Heart Healthcare Provider
  • (HCP) - AHA approved required* ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Certification or EKG & Pharmacology Course required National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required and VA License.
  • *New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to the completion of orientation
    Years of Experience: 3 years
    Float Requirements: None
  • Must Have Skills/Experience: RT on staff will be the backup for intubations training will be provided onsite the chosen RT will be the only RT on shift

  1. Front line positions (Examples: All positions that are not Team Leader Supervisor Manager Director Senior Director)
    1. If applicants current residence is < 50 miles from their primary work location; no incentive will be given
    2. If applicants current residence is 50 300 miles from their primary work location; $5000 SOB
    3. If applicants current residence is > 300 miles from their primary work location; $7500 SOB
  1. Leader positions (Examples: Team Leader Supervisor Manager Director Senior Director)
    1. If applicants current residence is < 50 miles from their primary work location; no incentive will be given
    2. If applicants current residence is 50 300 miles from their primary work location; $10000 SOB
    3. If applicants current residence is > 300 miles from their primary work location; $15000 SOB
    4. If applicants come from outside the US more may be offered
  1. These SOBs are in addition to SOBs for individual roles. Example: At the time of writing this RN1 receive a $10000 SOB standard. If the RN1 was moving 320 miles they would receive a $17500 SOB.
  1. Primary work location is defined as where their work office will be.
