Job Description

Job Title: Senior NADS (Network and Data Systems) Administrator
Location: Danbury CT (Onsite)
Duration: 1 Year (Full-time Contract)

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support distributed client data systems.
  • Monitor local and remote servers; ensure secure and reliable operation.
  • Manage server lifecycle activities (commissioning decommissioning data migration).
  • Implement infrastructure for complex application deployments.
  • Analyze and improve system performance.
  • Participate in 24/7 support including after-hours maintenance windows.
  • Document SOPs and collaborate with Systems Engineers on best practices.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 5 years in IT infrastructure roles
  • Must-Have Tech Skills:

    • OS Administration: Red Hat Linux Oracle Linux Solaris Windows Server
    • Virtualization: VMware ESX Oracle VM
    • Networking: DNS DHCP TCP/IP Active Directory
    • Security patching system monitoring and recovery
  • Nice-to-Haves:

    • Scripting/automation
    • Cloud platforms (Azure or AWS IaaS/PaaS)
    • No-tape backups clustering SAN Microfocus HPSM
