Marketing & Media Specialist Phoenix Arizona On-site
Were looking for someone whos excited to jump in and help lead our marketing and communications efforts here at SARRC! This role will play a big part in making sure everything we share from social media posts to printed materials reflects our mission of advancing research and providing lifelong support to individuals with autism. What Youll Do Brand & Content Development - Serve as a brand steward for SARRC ensuring all content and creative assets align with our mission values and visual identity.
- Create engaging digital and print content using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop InDesign Illustrator) and Canva.
- Write proofread and edit a variety of communications including web content social media marketing collateral advertisements video scripts press releases and blogs.
- Contribute to creative development for ad campaigns including copywriting layout ideas and A/B testing of ad variants.
Digital Marketing & Advertising - Plan execute and optimize paid digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram).
- Manage digital advertising budgets adjust spending based on performance and coordinate with external vendors or platforms as needed.
- Monitor performance of paid and organic content using tools such as Meta Ads Manager and Google Analytics; provide regular reporting and recommendations.
- Track and report on marketing performance metrics; use data to guide decision-making and optimize campaigns.
Social Media & Online Presence - Collaborate with the Digital Media Coordinator to craft compelling on-brand stories for use across web email and social channels.
- Assist with maintaining and updating the SARRC website identifying opportunities to enhance usability accessibility and design.
- Support integrated marketing campaigns that help meet organization-wide goals including program enrollment donor engagement and event promotion.
Internal & Community Collaboration - Support internal departments with promotional and communication needs.
- Participate in community events and outreach efforts as needed to promote SARRC programs and initiatives.
- Demonstrate leadership in interpersonal written and verbal communication.
Required Qualifications - Bachelors degree in communications marketing journalism or a related field. (Relevant work experience and certifications may be considered in place of a degree.)
- 35 years of professional experience in marketing media or communications ideally with a focus on paid digital advertising.
- Proven success planning managing and optimizing paid campaignsparticularly across Meta platforms (Facebook/Instagram).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop InDesign Illustrator); graphic design experience.
Hours Full-time Monday - Friday
