Requirements (Education Experience Licensure Certification): - High school diploma or GED and 1 year of relatedworkexperience.
Preferred Qualifications: - Associates degree and 1 to 3 years of work related experience including 2 years of Juvenile Court work experience.
Special Working Conditions and/or Hazards: - Employees work indoors and are protected from weather conditions or contaminants but not necessarily occasional temperature changes.
Job Duties: - Processes traffic ticket information including entering data into JCMS assigning court dates printing summons and scanning tickets and accident reports.
- Prepares maintains and manages the traffic docket in the courtroom.
- Reviews and monitors each docket ensuring all scheduled cases have an entry; Reviews all complaints for continuances capias or trials.
- Files continuances by scheduled court date or distributes paperwork to Prosecutors Warrant Clerk or Case Managers.
- Checks each case for pending court dates accuracy and modifications.
- Maintains and processes all traffic and non-traffic suspended licenses including notifying the BMV of a youths suspended license status by running a report and scanning it.
- Notifies the BMV when Magistrates delete a suspension on a youths license.
- Mails a copy of the entry and license to the youth and his/her family.
- Scans letters of request BMV Notifications and fax sheets into the Courts operating system JCMS.
- Responsible for scanning the BMV notification and fax sheet into JCMS for the maintenance of drug cases.
- Prepares daily traffic case transmissions to the BMV.
- Assists attorneys and the public regarding Traffic Court BMV procedures and requests for continuances.
- Reschedules cases through JCMS cancels the old court date and asks a Magistrate to create an entry reflecting the continuance.
- Prints processes and mails summons for the new court date.
- Assist with Traffic Bureau and Diversion Program.
- Provides back up coverage on dockets as case manager/case presenter when needed.
- Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.

Ability to use good judgment and problem-solving skills.
