Our Strategy and Transformation team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig for the role of Senior Data Scientist.
In this role you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions using advanced analytics machine learning and rigorous data validation to enhance financial decision-making manage risks optimize performance and ensure compliance within a tech-enabled banking environment.

What the role will entail
- Define the data science roadmap lead end-to-end analytics projects and align initiatives with business and financial goals.
- Collect clean and analyze complex financial data to develop and evaluate machine learning models for forecasting risk fraud and segmentation.
- Translate analytical findings into clear business strategies; collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure models meet operational objectives.
- Streamline data pipelines and deployment workflows to boost efficiency scalability and performance across systems.
- Drive innovation by exploring emerging tech and algorithms creating visualizations and communicating insights to stakeholders at all levels.
What were looking for
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative business or technology-related field such as Mathematics Statistics Data Science Physics Computer Science Engineering Information Technology Finance or Business Administration
- Familiarity with banking operations (Marketing Credit Portfolio Fraud AML) and hands-on experience with open-source data tools (Hive Presto Airflow) and cloud platforms (Azure GCP AWS)
- Proactive self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively across teams and functions
- Demonstrated expertise in banking operations (e.g. Marketing Credit Portfolio Fraud AML) proficiency in open-source data tools (Hive Presto Airflow) cloud technologies (Azure GCP AWS) and a proactive solutions-driven mindset with strong communication skills across cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical thinking attention to detail and the ability to structure complex issues and deliver insightful timely solutions
