Job Description
Waste Connections is looking for aDiesel Mechanicto join our 2nd shift team inCleveland TN. Whether youre experienced or just starting out this is a great opportunity to build a career with a company that values safety growth and teamwork.
What Youll Do:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks and heavy equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Use onboard diagnostics to identify and resolve issues.
- Complete safety inspections and maintain compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Accurately document work using fleet maintenance software.
- Participate in anovernight on-call rotationas needed.
Schedule & Pay:
- Shift:MondayFriday12:00 PM 10:30 PM
- Additional OTas needed includingoccasional Saturdays
- Pay:$20$28 per hourdepending on experience

What Youll Need:
- ValidClass B CDLwith air brake endorsement (or willingness to obtain) would be a plus
- Ability to lift50 lbs repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- A strong work ethic and a team-first attitude
