Job Description
Overview
Naphcare is seeking a Material Handler to work on-site within our Pharmacy Department located at our Corporate Office in Birmingham AL.The Material Handler is in charge of shipping receiving and inventory movement within the facility.
This is a full-time position with hours of 9 am - 6 pm Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities
- Receive materials and store in correct location
- Appropriately package outgoing shipments for delivery
- Assist with the timely fulfillment and delivery of products
- Work with team members to meet set goals
- Load and unload pallets and individual cases from trucks as well as collecting empty pallet boards
- Assist in weekly product inventory
- Managing inventory by identifying cataloging and recording the location of inventory
- Performing stock checks to rotate product and remove out of date drugs on a monthly basis
- Other duties as instructed per manager
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to lift more than 75 pounds consistently without assistance
- Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Able to climb bend reach stoop kneel and stretch for extended periods of time
- Availability to work overtime including weekends public holidays and evenings
- Reliable attendance
- Professional organizational and communication skills
