About the Role:

Electrical Quality Assurance Specialist Construction & Commissioning
Location: West Des Moines IA

We are seeking experienced Electrical Quality Assurance Specialists to join our team and play a critical role during the construction and commissioning phases of a high-profile infrastructure project. In this role you will ensure all electrical work meets rigorous project specifications safety standards and industry codes. Your expertise will be essential to delivering a safe compliant and fully operational facility on schedule.

What Youll Do:

• Conduct thorough field inspections during electrical construction and commissioning activities.
• Verify compliance with electrical design documents project specifications and applicable standards including NFPA NEC and TIA-942.
• Develop implement and maintain QA/QC processes and documentation tailored for large-scale projects.
• Interpret and review complex electrical drawings wiring schematics and design specifications.
• Support commissioning teams by validating system functionality performance and safety prior to project turnover.
• Perform root cause analysis of electrical issues and collaborate with contractors and engineers to develop corrective actions.
• Participate actively in quality and safety audits ensuring all findings are documented and resolved efficiently.
• Maintain detailed and accurate inspection reports punch lists and other quality records.

What Were Looking For:

• Proven experience in electrical construction and commissioning preferably on mission-critical or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems design installation and testing processes.
• Experience with QA/QC program development and execution.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings one-line diagrams and schematics.
• Hands-on knowledge of commissioning and validation practices for electrical equipment and systems.
• Skilled in performing root cause analysis and managing corrective/preventive actions.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards such as NFPA NEC and TIA-942.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.

Salary Range

Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including without limitation skill sets education responsibilities experience and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographically based ranges for Washington state: $ 85000 to $92400 USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidates qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
