Our client is a leading California law firm specializing in workers compensation employment law and subrogation. With offices across California and a remote-first approach they empower their attorneys to thrive in a dynamic professional and people-first workplace.
Location:
This is a remote position; however team members must be California residents and will work closely with a Managing Partner based in Los Angeles. Our clients onboarding and collaboration processes ensure seamless integration into our tech-forward cloud-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Litigation Defense & Risk Management for School Districts (must have this experience)
- Strategic Counsel & Legal Guidance for School District Leadership
- Policy Development & Compliance for Educational Institutions
- Training & Development for School District HR and Administrator
Qualifications:
- Active membership in the State Bar of California (required)
- Must reside in California in good standing
- Must have a well-established and exclusive employment litigation defense background
- School district defense experience required
- Trial experience preferred but not required
- Experience with public entity defense a plus
- Bachelors and Juris Doctor degree
