SEnergy a growing and dynamic consulting engineering firm located in located in College Station Houston and the Texas Hill Country is seeking a Project Engineer to focus on low voltage projects for our Power Generation group.
The successful candidate will have a systematic approach to problem solving with a high attention to detail.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and implement low voltage electrical systems for Power Generation projects.
- Conducting detailed electrical calculations and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Collaborate with designers contractors and other team members to develop electrical plans and specifications.
- Review project drawings and providing technical guidance on low voltage electrical systems.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure the proper installation and functioning of low voltage electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to low voltage electrical systems.
- Participate in the commissioning and testing of low voltage electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program;
- Possess strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills and able to communicate effectively orally and in writing; 0-4 years experience in industry or related industry
- Preferred:5 years experience EIT or PE in the State of Texas
SKILLS:
- Strong (effective) written and verbal communication skills exceptional computer skills with emphasis in project management spreadsheet and word processing applications.
- Strong skills of time management organizational and multi-tasking.
- Proficient in AutoCAD (preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
PHYSICAL:
- This position requires the ability to listen and hear good eyesight sitting standing walking and use of hands and arms.
