Job Description

SEnergy a growing and dynamic consulting engineering firm located in located in College Station Houston and the Texas Hill Country is seeking a Project Engineer to focus on low voltage projects for our Power Generation group.

The successful candidate will have a systematic approach to problem solving with a high attention to detail.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design and implement low voltage electrical systems for Power Generation projects.
  • Conducting detailed electrical calculations and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Collaborate with designers contractors and other team members to develop electrical plans and specifications.
  • Review project drawings and providing technical guidance on low voltage electrical systems.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure the proper installation and functioning of low voltage electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to low voltage electrical systems.
  • Participate in the commissioning and testing of low voltage electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program;
  • Possess strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills and able to communicate effectively orally and in writing; 0-4 years experience in industry or related industry
  • Preferred:5 years experience EIT or PE in the State of Texas
SKILLS:
  • Strong (effective) written and verbal communication skills exceptional computer skills with emphasis in project management spreadsheet and word processing applications.
  • Strong skills of time management organizational and multi-tasking.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.

PHYSICAL:
  • This position requires the ability to listen and hear good eyesight sitting standing walking and use of hands and arms.
