Job Description
Job Opening for Tendering & Proposal
Location: Chennai
Experience: 20 years
Key Responsibilities:
Tendering & Strategy:
- Identify opportunities in Transmission Lines sectors.
- Develop competitive bidding strategies balancing cost risk and quality.
- Lead pre-bid planning pricing decisions and risk mitigation.
- Stay updated on market trends competitor activity and policy shifts.
- Negotiate contract terms and convert bids into project awards.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with key clients government bodies and private players.
- Engage with policymakers and financial institutions to stay informed on policy and funding.
- Represent the company in client meetings presenting proposals and handling negotiations.
Team Leadership & Coordination:
- Lead and mentor the tendering team to ensure timely and high-quality bid submissions.
- Collaborate with internal departments and raise client concerns for resolution.
- Improve project qualifications and positioning for future bids.
Process Optimization & Improvement:
- Standardize tools and templates to streamline proposal preparation.
- Conduct post-bid reviews to improve strategy and execution in future tenders.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering Power Systems Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- MBA or masters degree in project management/business development is preferred.
