The Office of Student Information (OSI) is excited to announce openings for multiple Business Systems Analyst II positions. These positions will support either the Academics team or the Financials team.
As a member of the Academics team you would focus on the entire Workday Student ecosystem related to the responsibilities of the Academics team including responsibilities related to the Graduate College Academic Records Registration Program Completion and APR/Advising.
As a member of the Financials team you would focus on the entire Workday Student ecosystem related to the responsibilities of the Financials team including collaborating with the Office of Student Financial Aid Accounts Receivable and Finance.
This is a two-year term position. The possibility of renewal is contingent on funding.
The successful candidate will analyze and execute work with a cross-functional lens to ensure configuration has considered all possible down-stream and cross-stream impacts.
Key responsibilities include:
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship.
We are looking for candidates that have a problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset with related experience in customer service business systems analysis or related work (software development network diagnostics or solution design as examples) to show the execution of those skills.
Level Guidelines
Intermediate-level position with solid professional and/or technical skills working under general supervision to achieve goals
Applies broad working knowledge of the principles of the field to moderately complex difficult and varied problems and issues
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action and resolve problems
Responds to a broad range of inquiries and requests
May provide training and/or direction to lower-level staff
May lead projects of moderate scope and complexity
Provides guidance to students
