Job Description

Overview

*Salary range beginning at $84000*

$5000 sign on bonus

(external candidates only)

Advocates is seeking a Program Director to lead our Support and Stabilization Services contracted through the Department of Children and Families (DCF). These services help families to build skills resolve clinical challenges and access resources. Our staff support families in navigating a wide range of issues including trauma behavioral health challenges complex family systems and substance use. Services are delivered primarily in families homes and in other community locations.

In this role you will have the opportunity to establish and grow a program with a presence in several parts of the state. You will ensure that services are clinically sound family-centered and consistent with program specifications. This is a hybrid position requiring a presence in an Advocates office at least 3 days per week. Time in specific offices is dependent on program needs.

Minimum Education Required

Masters Degree

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership clinical direction and operational oversight to services contracted through the Department of Children and Families (DCF)
  • Provide weekly supervision to Clinical Supervisors in each region
  • Ensure that all program staff receive documented regular supervision
  • Facilitate staff trainings to support clinical competence and professional development
  • Create and maintain a welcoming trauma-informed culturally sensitive environment and treatment approach
  • Ensure that staff are meeting productivity targets
  • Manage contracts including regulatory requirements relationships outcomes and coordination of billing
  • Provide on call support and guidance to clinicians or supervisors as needed during emergencies
  • Collaborate with DCF and other service providers

Qualifications

  • Mastersdegree in a clinical mental health discipline
  • Massachusetts independent licensure required (LICSW LMHC LMFT PsyD)
  • 5 yearsofexperience in providingclinical services to children and/or families
  • 3 years of experience in providing clinical supervision to staff
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • High energy level superior interpersonal skillsand ability to function in a team atmosphere
  • Commitment to Advocates values and mission
  • Strongly prefer a candidate that will have a demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations
  • Advocates considers lived experience (personal or familial) with the mental health system a valuable asset
