Per Diem Advanced EndoscopistNorwalk Hospital Norwalk Connecticut (50 miles from New York City)
Norwalk Hospital part of Nuvance Health is seeking a per diem Advanced Endoscopist as we continue to grow our program. We are seeking a board certified gastroenterologist with 4th year Advanced Endoscopy training. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long established teaching program that is growing and expanding general and advanced GI services. Our team includes eight physicians and two advanced practitioners. There is opportunity for a faculty appointment. We perform procedures in a state-of-the-art brand new endoscopy suite. Our Gastroenterology Fellowship is a Yale University School of Medicine level II affiliated three-year program leading to ABIM certification in Gastroenterology. Norwalk is located one hour outside of New York City in suburban Fairfield County next to Westchester County in New York. We offer a highly competitive per diem rate.
Norwalk Hospital has 366 beds and is also a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital we are associated with the Vermont College of Medicine Yale University School of Medicine Ross University School of Medicine and the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. Our employed Medical Group includes 1000 physicians and advanced practice providers serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.
Norwalk Hospital is ideally situated in Fairfield County Connecticut along the Long Island Sound. Compensation Range: $325-$400/hour relative to experience
