Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
o Prior experience working in Autistic Support and Multiple Disability Support Special Education classrooms beneficial.
o Ability to communicate effectively across a variety of team members including parents.
o Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
o Excellent oral and written communication skills.
o Advanced computer competency in Microsoft Office IEP Writer and the ability to learn other software as needed.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable): Citizenship or work authorization to work in the United States required.

Job Summary:
The Educational Consultant an experienced special education teacher provides ongoing coaching feedback and support to assigned classroom teams in Bucks IU School Aged classrooms and/or school district Educational Consultant must have training and expertise in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis to recommend current effective evidence-based instructional practices. This individual must be well versed in effective classroom management assessment program development instructional delivery and materials data collection data analysis and progress monitoring. This individual may attend IEP meetings provide professional development (small and large group) and consult with district liaisons.
This job reports to Supervisor of Special Education.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time 193-day calendar position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Hours of work are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Hours are dependent on the needs of the districts. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel: May be required to travel to itinerant locations throughout Bucks County and surrounding regions.
