The consultants main target is the sales of new AutoStore projects. He works in close collaboration with the sales manager and develops the best possible logistics and IT solution to the customers benefit. The consultant has the skills to convince the customer about the solution and the resulting benefits.
In addition the consultant develops and improves standard solutions in order to differentiate from the competition. He introduces sales tools and processes. The consultant is highly motivated to work in a startup environment and is open for a wide range of tasks at different locations.
Your tasks
- Design and Sale of AutoStore Systems/ Solutions
- Support the sales phase from lead until contract
- Analysis of customer data to evaluate performance trends and requirements
- Meeting with clients to discuss their logistics processes and procedures
- Creation of optimal logistics and IT solution that delivers customer benefit
- Constant customer communication maintaining a strong client relationship
- Works with procurement/ engineering to identify external service providers for designed solution
- Assist sales in the handover of sold projects to the project team
- Stays active on sold projects until the functional specification (SW) and detailed designs are complete
- Stays in touch with customers during the project to ensure continuity through the project timeline
- Market overview and identification of market potential (new markets)
- Assessment of delivered projects to identify areas of opportunity for continued improvement
- Develop standard solutions (e.g. goods-to-robot picking) to differentiate Kardex
- Introduce and improve tools (e.g. calculation dimensioning etc.) and the sales processes
- Support new colleagues at other locations particularly in EMEA and APAC
