Hiring Range: $16.00 $18.40 per hour depending on experience

Position Summary:
At Community Hospital we believe that exceptional care extends beyond the bedside its felt in every corner of our campus including our coffee shop. We are seeking a friendly dependable and service-minded Barista to join our Food & Nutrition Services team. This role helps create a comforting and welcoming environment for patients visitors and staff by preparing and serving high-quality beverages with genuine care. Whether its a coffee for a nurse heading into a long shift or tea for a loved one in the waiting room your contributions will directly support our healing mission.

What Youll Do:

• Prepare and serve a variety of espresso drinks teas smoothies and other beverages

• Operate the point-of-sale system and accurately handle cash and card transactions

• Maintain a clean safe and inviting caf environment in accordance with food safety and infection control standards

• Provide prompt courteous and compassionate service to all guests

• Restock supplies and assist with inventory as needed

• Be a positive presence that uplifts those around you from staff members to families and patients

What Were Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous barista or food service experience preferred

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting with a team-oriented mindset

• Flexible availability including mornings weekends and holidays
