What You Will Be Doing:
- Build and maintain backend components for ahigh-class enterprise backup product deeply integrated withLinux system servicescommand-line tools andvirtualization technologiessuch asKVMandlibvirt.
- Develop robust and scalable features that interact with daemons background processes and storage/file systems.
- Work with relationaldatabasesto support efficient reliable data management.
- Write clean maintainable and well-tested code with a focus on performance and system reliability.
- Investigate and resolve complex issues in production environments collaborating with Support.
- Collaborate withProduct Managers and Engineersto conceptualize and deliver new product capabilities.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum workflows providing accurate estimates and contributing to planning and retrospectives.
- Lead by example through code reviews mentoring and technical leadership across the engineering team.
- Improve internal tooling CI/CD pipelines and development processes usingGitLabJIRA and related systems
What You Should Have:
- 5 years of backend software development experience using modern programming languages such asGo PHP Python Java or C.
- Strong experience inLinux environments including scripting system integration and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience withvirtualization platformssuch asKVMlibvirt or similar stacks.
- Familiarity withdatabases(e.g. MySQL) including data modeling and optimization.
- Experience with CI/CD workflows Git-based version control and Agile methodologies.
- Ability to debug analyze and troubleshoot production systems and services.
- Bonus: Experience withobservability toolssuch asGrafanaandOpenSearch or working withZFSand other storage systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
We work 3 days in the office per week at Kaseya Krakow which is mandatory.
