Job Description
After School Club Site Director
At Deerfield Park District we provide outstanding parks services facilities and recreation programs that enrich lives promote healthy living and inspire memorable experiences. We are looking for hard working caring people that support our mission.

We are looking for:
Part Time (Seasonal) Site Directors 3:15p-6:00p Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday and 2:15pm-6:00pm Wednesday
Pay rate: $23
Essential Functions Include:
- Develop and supervise age appropriate activities.
- Create and maintain strong lines of communication with parents.
- Supervise participants and staff with facilitating program rules regulations and safety concerns.
- Work collaboratively with peers.
- Identify and respond appropriately to participant behavior issues.
- Maintain accurate program records including incident reports and daily attendance.
- Know and understand all emergency procedures associated with the After School Club program.
- Assist in the resolution of conflicts and or violations of rules with parents children or other parties that relate to the program and its operation.
- Participates in daily After School Club activities to serve as a beneficial role model to participants.
Requirements:
- Love working with children
- Patient and flexible
- Strong communication skills
- Enjoys having fun
- Team player
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and be on your feet for long periods of time
- Must pass a background check
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Wage Range: $23 -$28 starting pay at the base of range.
Benefits: Sachs Recreation Center free membership and free pool pass for employee during employment with park district.
