Senior Level Modeling & Analysis Engineer

Our team analyzes end-to-end GEOINT mission performancesupporting data delivery architectural design and system workflows for over 50 Intelligence Community systems. Were looking for a motivated analyst to help us optimize GEOINT data flow by leveraging our deep data-rich ecosystem.

What Youll Do:

• Design and conduct trades and modeling of new GEOINT capabilities delivering predictions and recommendations to enhance NSG architecture in hybrid (cloud and datacenter) environments.

• Analyze large-scale data sets (billions of records) with categorical temporal and geospatial features using statistical tools and programming languages.

• Develop and enhance dashboards that provide clear visual summaries of performance data trends and mission insights.

• Perform data mining training set creation and exploratory analysis to support key decisions.

• Evaluate and apply industry best practices and performance metrics to improve dashboard reporting.

• Work closely with stakeholders to define and solve complex problems using big data approaches.

• Present technical findings and actionable insights to both technical and non-technical audiences including senior government leadership.

Skills and Experience:

Required:

• Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering or in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering physics mathematics operations research engineering management Computer Science Information Technology Management Information Systems or related STEM degree program.
• A minimum of 12 years of working experience in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process Requirements Process PPBES Process or system engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments.
• Experience with and strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle.
• Strong communication skills to translate stakeholder requirements into system use-cases.
• Experience with visualization tools (e.g. TableauD3 ggplot).
• Experience utilizing multiple big data technologies: Hadoop Hive HDFS HBase MapReduce Spark Kafka Sqoop.
• Experience with SQL Spark ETL.
• Experience with extracting cleaning and transforming large transactional datasets to build predictive models and generate supporting documentation.
• TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly.

Desired:

• Solid background developing solutions for high volume low latency applications
• Ability to operate in a fast paced highly collaborative environment.
• Experience in designing and deploying data warehouses and data marts
• Experience in data modeling with a strong focus on dimensional data modeling techniques (star schema snowflake schema etc.)
• Experience successfully solving UI/UX problems
• Experience in the Visual Design of an application
• Understanding of the Rules of Accessibility
