Position Overview
This role within the Peds Heart Center offers an outstanding opportunity to contribute to the health and well-being of pediatric patients suffering from cardiac conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and support for pediatric patients with heart conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individual treatment plans.
- Assist in the education and training of healthcare providers and students in pediatric cardiology.
- Engage with patients and families to facilitate understanding of conditions and treatment processes.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Essential Qualifications
- Strong understanding of pediatric cardiac conditions and therapies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.
Desired Experience
- Prior experience in a pediatric cardiology setting is highly desirable.
- Experience in educating healthcare professionals and patients.
- Track record of involvement in research and evidence-based practice is an asset.
