Job Description
Job Title: Senior Data Scientist (Fraud & Risk Analytics Python/SAS Cloud AI Governance 10 yrs)
Location: Atlanta GA (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Required Qualifications:- Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science Computer Science Statistics Mathematics Economics or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in data science roles with a strong focus on fraud or risk analytics.
- Proficient in Python SQL SAS and advanced machine learning techniques.
- Experience with large-scale data processing and cloud platforms such as AWS GCP or Azure.
- Strong understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning methods for fraud detection including anomaly detection behavioral modeling and network analysis.
- Familiarity with the responsible use of AI in solution design.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Excellent analytical communication and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated experience working in fraud prevention or financial services environments.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and anti-fraud frameworks.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collect clean and analyze large complex datasets from multiple internal and external sources.
- Design and deploy predictive models and machine learning algorithms for fraud detection and prevention.
- Translate complex business problems into measurable and actionable data science solutions.
- Implement real-time fraud detection systems in collaboration with fraud operations engineering and compliance teams.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate and improve model performance over time.
- Investigate fraud cases in depth producing detailed reports and strategic insights.
- Stay informed about the latest fraud tactics technologies and industry trends to proactively adjust detection methods.
