Job Description
Job Title :Cognos BI Technical Developer
Location: Albany NY(Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in IBM Cognos Business Intelligence suite including administration installation server configuration BI solution architecture and technical support across all components.
- Proficient in the installation and configuration of Motio Persona including hands-on experience with MotioCI deployments versioning and regression testing workflows.
- Skilled in applying industry best practices using IBM Cognos Transformer (v8.3 or higher) to build complex data cube models from existing data marts including advanced implementation of data object and cube-level security through Framework Manager and Transformer tools.
- Hands-on experience with IBM Cognos 10 and higher in managing quarterly upgrades within multi-web and multi-application tier environments including configuration and maintenance of SSO advanced routing dynamic query mode dynamic cubes dashboards data modeling web authoring and migrations (e.g. from 10.2 to 11.x).
- Strong background in implementing Cognos BI application security using enterprise identity management systems such as Active Directory (AD) LDAP and Siteminder.
- Proven ability to design develop and maintain enterprise reporting solutions using IBM Cognos BI 10 or higher supporting analytical reporting scorecards and dashboards across both relational and dimensional data environments.
- Deep expertise with IBM Cognos Framework Manager (v10 or higher) using best practices to design and maintain enterprise-level reporting packages.
- Experience developing and integrating web services using JavaScript Java .NET SQL and Unix scripting with support for Cognos SDK and Web Service APIs.
- IBM Cognos BI Certified (version 8 or higher).
