Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Experience: 4 - 8 Years
Location: Chennai(Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy scripting.
- Develop infrastructure automation using Ansible for configuration management and deployments.
- Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure on AWS ensuring high availability and performance.
- Handle virtualized environments using VMware including provisioning scaling and optimization.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to support build release and deployment processes.
- Monitor system health respond to incidents and improve overall system reliability (SRE principles).
- Develop custom scripts/tools to streamline operations and support DevOps best practices.
- Ensure security compliance and operational documentation of DevOps procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotations and handle production incidents with root cause analysis.
- 5 8 years of hands-on experience in DevOps/SRE roles.
- Strong proficiency with Jenkins for CI/CD and Groovy scripting.
- Deep understanding of Ansible for automation and orchestration.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2 S3 IAM VPC Lambda etc.).
- Good experience with VMware virtualization tools and management platforms.
- Strong Linux/Unix administration background.
- Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Good understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
