Job Title: Network L2 Engineer
Location: Redmond WA (Onsite)
Primary Skill : DWDM EDFA Vs RAMAN amplifiers ROADM FOADM Optical Transponders Optical Coherent technology ASE OSNR FEC Different fiber types Non Linear effects
Job Description:
Must Have Technical Skills:
- Well versed with below Optical technologies/concepts
- DWDM EDFA Vs RAMAN amplifiers ROADM FOADM Optical Transponders Optical Coherent technology ASE OSNR FEC Different fiber types Non Linear effects Different modulation schemes (16QAM 8QAM etc) Dispersion
- having exposure on ciena DWDM technologies
- Good understanding of FCAPS functionalities
- Expertise in troubleshooting Optical DWDM networks
- Experience in software upgrades in large networks
- Min 4 years of Hands on experience on working on Optical DWDM line systems from Ciena Infinera Cisco etc.
Must Have Soft Skills:
- Good technical document writing skills
- Experience in working in cross team environment across diff time zones
- Experience in driving meeting with peers in customers and Vendors teams
