We are looking for a highly experienced and hands-on Tech Lead with strong expertise in SQL and Python to lead data-driven development initiatives. The ideal candidate will guide a team of developers design scalable data solutions and ensure high performance and code quality across projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of developers working on data-centric applications.
- Design and develop efficient and scalable solutions using SQL and Python.
- Optimize database queries and ensure data integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with product managers analysts and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews enforce coding standards and drive best practices.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide hands-on support as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in backend/data engineering with strong SQL and Python skills.
- Proven experience in leading technical teams or projects.
- Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL MySQL SQL Server).
- Hands-on experience with Python for data processing automation or backend development.
- Good knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and Agile development practices.
- Excellent communication leadership and problem-solving skills.
