We are looking for an Account Director to join our team as a trusted adviser with a relentless focus on bringing value to our customers within the Public Sector (Government and Healthcare). You will be responsible for helping our customers effectively engage withoursolutions (Talent and Learning). You will be dedicated to making our customers stronger and seeking out opportunities for growth. Although you possess a strategic approach to selling and strive to meet/exceed revenue goals you will always have your clients best interest in mind and act as their internal advocate to ensure they are set up for success.
Responsibilities:
- Incorporates economic industry and company-specific insights into account planning with a customer-first mindset.
- Conducts thorough research into the customers business and prepares insightful questions ahead of meetings.
- Uses layered open-ended questions to uncover and clarify customer goals and challenges beyond surface-level understanding.
- Leads with solution-oriented recommendations that align with customer objectives rather than focusing solely on products.
- Maps key stakeholders within accounts to assess relationship strength and develop targeted engagement strategies.
- Build strong relationships across the customers organizationboth vertically and horizontally.
- Adapts communication style and messaging to suit the needs of diverse stakeholders.
- Guide customer decision-making by aligning on a shared vision and highlighting value propositions that resonate across stakeholder groups.
- Identifies and pursues opportunities to drive customer growth and deliver additional value.
- Leverages data and insights to support investment recommendations and address objections.
- Applies commercial acumen when structuring and negotiating agreements.
- Engage customers consistently to validate value delivery and adjust strategies to maximize ROI.
- Proactively reduces churn risk through a thoughtful customer-centric approach.
- Demonstrates integrity throughout the sales process.
- Commits to shared accountability with colleagues and cross-functional teams to ensure customer success.
- Actively seeks input and collaborates with peers when encountering challenges or unfamiliar situations.
- Maintains discipline in territory management account planning forecasting and quota achievement.
- Follows best practices in using CRM and sales tools to effectively manage both the sales and buyer journeys.

- Skilled in navigating high-level business opportunities
- Capable of evaluating business potential and accurately interpreting buyer intent.
- Excellent communication skills complemented by persuasive negotiation and reliable forecasting abilities.
- Experienced in coordinating cross-functional teams and leadership stakeholders to position LinkedIns offering competitively against both direct and indirect rivals.
- Adept at leveraging data to guide decisions and influence stakeholders effectively.
- Solid understanding of software contract terms with the ability to structure equitable and strategic agreements.
- Proficient in managing deal closures by aligning solutions with client needs.
