Job Description
Peracon (Egis) is seeking a technically strong and client-focused Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. In this role you will be responsible for undertaking high-quality engineering studies investigations and designs within a commercially driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality electrical engineering designs and documentation for Power Transmission and Distribution (T&D) systems including HV and LV networks substations switchyards and associated infrastructure
- Manage project deliverables to ensure they are completed on time within budget and to a high technical standard
- Engage directly with clients to understand their technical and commercial requirements build trust and provide sound risk-aware engineering advice
- Support internal design reviews and verification processes to uphold Peracons quality assurance standards
- Undertake technical investigations feasibility studies and concept-to-detailed design for substations and network upgrades across utility industrial and infrastructure projects
Qualifications :
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong technical background with experience in heavy industry sectors such as mining processing rail or oil & gas OR within the Electrical Transmissions/Distribution industry
- Proficient in contract management and the commercial aspects of engineering projects
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality timely outputs in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving communication and documentation skills
- Professional and collaborative approach with strong stakeholder management skills.
Additional Information :
Salary Banding: $80000 - $90000 super
