The Audiovisual (AV) unit is responsible for the platform development provision and distribution of live streaming event coverage across the world by maintaining the companys strong and assists rights holders in increasing their fan base and viewership worldwide by buying and selling sport broadcast signals to broadcasters across the world.
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced partnership and business development specialist for our media rights unit. This role will be sales-focused reaching out to broadcasters and digital media platforms (OTT) to distribute Sportradars media rights portfolio. Supporting the collaboration with federations leagues or sports rights holders and acquiring rights will be an additional part of the role. You will need to develop and if there is already an existing one use your personal network as well as our organisation to drive this business significantly.
THE CHALLENGE:
- Be part of the sales and business development team for Sportradar Audiovisual Products
- Revenue responsibility for media rights sales in Asia
- Manage existing and develop new global sports rights-holder relationships (clubs teams leagues federations) from conceptual discussions through to contracting and representation.
- Support the rights acquisition process
- Identifying and acquiring new clients
- Negotiation of new agreements with international clients including presenting and pitching in front of clients
- Market-Monitoring and identification of trends
- Sticking to internal reporting structures for sales KPIs
- Support the product teams to optimise the products from a sales perspective
YOUR PROFILE:
- Bachelors in Business Sales Marketing or a related field.
- Previous sales or partnership experience in sports media rights or further related media area
- Commercial and Sales-driven personality with a proven track record of establishing long-lasting partnerships
- Strong negotiation communication and closing skills.
- Good understanding of the media and digital landscape in Asia
- Understanding of the wider global sports audiovisual environment (rights and licensing cycles)
- Ability to work independently
- Fluent in English another language is an advantage
