Job Description
Are you looking for a rewarding part-time role where you can make a real difference in peoples lives We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part Time Care Professional to join our team in Northwich Knutsford and surrounding areas. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to provide personalised person centred care and support to clients in their own homes helping them maintain their independence and enhancing their quality of life.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist clients with their daily routines and personal care needs
- Help with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and tidying
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for clients
- Support clients with medication reminders as directed
- Accompany clients to appointments or on short outings when required
- Have the use of your own Motor vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to the care coordinator
- Collaborate with other care team members to ensure consistent high-quality care
- Adapt to changing client needs and preferences with flexibility and understanding
Qualifications :
- Previous care experience in either paid or family support roles (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to assist clients with daily tasks and mobility
- Patience compassion and a genuine interest in improving the lives of others
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work alternate weekends and adapt to clients schedules
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Residence within a 10 mile distance of Northwich United Kingdom
- Access to own motorised transport for travelling between clients
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for maintaining care records
- Willingness to undergo a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
- Commitment to ongoing training and professional development in the care sector
