Job Description

The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly analytical and insights-driven User Journey Analyst to join our Performance Analytics team. In this role you will be responsible for deep-diving into how users interact with our products and services across various touchpoints and channels. Your primary objective will be to identify friction points drop-off reasons and optimization opportunities within user funnels translating complex data into clear actionable recommendations for our product marketing and engineering teams. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Funnel Analysis & Optimization: 
  • Proactively analyze user behavior funnels (e.g. onboarding activation conversion retention feature adoption) across multiple products in the TBC mobile application. 
  • Identify key drop-off points bottlenecks and areas of high friction within the user journey. 
  • Develop hypotheses for improvement and design data-driven tests (A/B tests multivariate tests) to validate them. 
  • Monitor the performance of new features and product changes on user journeys. 
  • Data Collection & Integration: 
  • Collaborate with data engineers and product teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive tracking of user events across all relevant data sources (e.g. Google Analytics 4 AppsFlyer PostHog CRM internal databases). 
  • Ensure data quality and consistency for robust analysis. 
  • Insight Generation & Reporting: 
  • Transform raw data into compelling insights and narratives that explain why users behave the way they do. 
  • Work with Data Analyst to create and maintain dashboards (e.g. in BigQuery Looker Studio Tableau) to monitor key user journey metrics and trends. 
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to diverse audiences including product managers developers marketers and senior leadership. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Direction: 
  • Act as a central expert on user behavior within funnels providing actionable insights and clear directions to product marketing and engineering teams. 
  • Support prioritization efforts by quantifying the impact of identified issues and potential solutions. 
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure analytical insights are integrated into design improvements. 

Qualifications :

 

  • Bachelors degree in a quantitative field such as Marketing Statistics Economics Computer Science Mathematics Business Analytics or a related discipline. 
  • 1-2 years of experience in a data analysis product analytics or growth analytics role specifically with a focus on user funnels/journeys. 
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for querying large and complex datasets (experience with Google BigQuery is a significant plus). 
  • Experience with mobile app attribution and analytics platforms (e.g. AppsFlyer Adjust Firebase). 
  • Demonstrated experience with web analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics 4). 
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills. 
  • Ability to translate complex data findings into clear concise and actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Strong communication presentation and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proactive self-starter with a passion for understanding user behavior and driving product improvements.
